Leisure Sport Aircraft ( LSA ) has been established by John Gardon as a
one stop shop for all your aircraft acquisition, training and
maintenance needs.
We have set up to offer advice as well selling and distributing Light Sport Aircraft and associated
accessories in Australia. A plethora of aircraft are now available but do not meet the specific needs of some. We aim to source and sell excellent quality economic personal aircraft suited for Australian conditions that are available on the world market.
After a lot of research a decision was reached to import the very high
quality Brazilian "Paradise" aircraft which had been specifically designed and
built to the new FAA Light Sport Aircraft category rules. It has a
very large cockpit of 43.3 inches (for us big blokes), but is also an
aircraft that has standard options such as a 150 litre fuel tank for those vast Aussie distances it is expected to fly over. The Paradise offers an excellent high wing solution. In time we hope to identify other high quality aircraft that meet the needs of Australian aviators.
John Gardon, one of the principles of LSA has decades of aviation experience in Australia and overseas. He has owned and operated a number of Tecnams, Foxbats and Drifters in his Flight Training Facility over the years and is the holder of a RA-Aus CFI and Pilot Examiner rating. He is the the owner and operator of the well known
Flight North FTF that has offered professional flight training and maintenance solutions
in the Ballina and Lismore area of Northern NSW over the last two decades.
At LSA, we aim to provide a total solution for your aviation needs. While we will be importing a variety of LSA aircraft our aim is to set up an aircraft brokerage that will suit you up with an aircraft that suits your unique needs and not just what the salesman wants to sell you.
